How To Raise Emotionally Intelligent Kids

More and more toddlers and preschoolers are being expected to have self-control. This means not expressing their emotions. As a result, children are learning at an early age to suppress their emotions, and we're incorrectly calling this self-regulation. Kids (and adults) need time to feel their emotions before being expected to be calm. Self-regulation is a learned skill. In this workshop we'll talk about young children having hard feelings, selfawareness of emotions, processing emotions, coping strategies to get calm, and solving conflicts. These are all a part of self-regulation.

Hayley Goldberg:
Hayley is a licensed marriage and family therapist and parenting coach. Hayley’s work is tailored to helping parents of toddlers and preschoolers get to the root of their parenting frustrations and challenges. She helps parents to understand their children better, and teaches them new positive, collaborative strategies for changing behaviors while also building warm, trusting relationships between parents and children - relationships that will last a life time. Hayley’s goal for the parents she works with is for them to parent more calmly and confidently, raising kids who are happy, resilient and kind and who will grow up to reach their full potential.

Inner Circle Program

The inner circle program is open to families who have worked with me privately and completed either the 1 month intensive coaching package or my 3 month signature coaching program. Because parenting truly is a process and not an event enrollment in this program allows me to be able to continue supporting you with private sessions to provide you with ongoing support, education, and encouragement as you parent your toddlers and preschoolers through those ups and downs of child development. It also has the bonus of free registration for any upcoming workshops.
